Eliminating Neck Pain

The cause of neck pain can range from acute strains and sprains or chronic conditions such as osteoarthritis.  Faulty body mechanics is the common denominator!

Common Causes:

1. Forward neck flexion caused by electronic use, computers, reading and poor posture.

2. Stomach sleeping and improper use of pillows

3. Weakened abdominals contributing to trunk flexion

4. Poor body mechanics while lifting weights or heavy groceries

5. Previous injuries

6. Cervical structure (genetics)
